BODEGA IMPERANTE is forged by family tradition in winemaking: Familia López-Alonso, high viticulture.

150 hectares of vineyards cultivated at an altitude between 560 m and 700 m over clayey-calcareous soils, deep and draining, very poor in organic matter thereby favoring the growth of the best quality grapes.
All this, together with the special microclimate with clearly Mediterranean influence on the valley, and continental on the side of the Iberian System, give rise to wines with a unique maturation capacity and distinctive profiles.
The main varieties growing in the old vineyards of IMPERANTE are Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano.
They are enviable old, more than 70 years of age, and they all are cultivated following strict environmental and sustainability techniques.
Aware of the need to continue being an emblem in the best quality techniques of La Rioja, a dedicated and laborious work began to achieve the highest Global Safety and Quality Standards such is IFS Food Certificate (International Featured Standards).
